Unreal

I love how commercials always have the most helpful customer service reps on them. I work in the customer service industry and have in some form since I was 16 and got my first job. One of the most frustrating things to encounter as a customer is to explain your desire and have the representative act like you just spoke a different language to them.

If you are lucky some other, more brilliant worker comes over after overhearing you and quickly helps… because your request was actually really simple.

If you are unlucky you are left with two workers, blinking like owls without the hoot, acting as confused as they possibly can while explaining why they can’t help you.

Commercials are false advertising.

  2. What I hate the most is when they transfer you, and then you have to explain the situation all over again, only for that dumbass to transfer you AGAIN. Then as it turns out, all the previous advice they’ve given was all wrong and then you have to start from the beginning with the new customer rep. Just… UGH

  3. What frustrates me is when they ask a billion questions to full understand the situation, hold you on the phone for 30 minutes just to transfer you and share zero of the information so you have to explain it all over again. My husband was on the phone with Amazon for two hours the other night over the simple concept of the package was never delivered to our house, but the questions and the re-explaining between five or six different reps got pretty frustrating to listen to, much less having to repeat them.

  5. LOL … I asked for an Apple MacBook once … they took me over to the Samsung Galaxy Pads. They don’t even sound the same! (Turns out, upon further investigation … They don’t receive commission for Apple products.) I went somewhere else in the end.
