Retraction Post

Apparently the article I read wasn’t true and popcorn lung may not be caused by vaping. This has taught me a tough lesson in doing better research and watching what I post. I’d like to apologize to the academy, my readers, my family, my guinea pigs Noah, Snowy, and Luke, to all the teachers I’ve had in the past that taught me much better including the incredibly mean teacher in the ninth grade who crushed my dreams when she called me out for no reason in front of the class but that’s ok because I know you were probably just stressed during tax season or something and I’m obviously not the type to hold a grudge and remember such a small, petty detail of life that I should move on from immediately and I will… I will, I will…

So yea. So sorry about the wrong info folks. It will probably happen again. 🙂

  1. Well that’s great news to me because this isn’t the first time I’ve heard about the popcorn lung thing. What a relief! I vape and I don’t want to get popcorn lung. I would greatly appreciate it if you would follow me or check out my blog on vaping. Either way thank you for your inspirational writings. -bel

  2. In your defence, though I think it admirable that you have released a reactraction post, Snopes has been proven to be very biased and to publish some deceptive facts. Also, it says “mostly untrue” , which speaks in favour of you being “mostly right”. Remember, ALL the media is owned by 6 corporations, and they also own the fact checker sites. They call online news media “fake news”, including some very reputable news sites such as Breitbart. So, you may not be as wrong as you think. It’s hard to find credible sources since Obama signed a bill in July that gives government power over media.

  3. ha ha……. but your original post still makes a good point. We won’t know until it is too late. I don’t vape, I don’t smoke, I look at the sensation from a standpoint of someone who knows there is always a price. I just don’t trust it. I have learned my lessons and I have the wrinkles to prove it. Research, I hate research. It is much more fun to spout out what you believe and look for the facts later, as I always seem to be guilty of doing when someone calls me on the bullshit. I hate being wrong, especially when I am so sure i am right to begin with. It’s a real pisser, but researching to make sure of your point, somehow takes the joy out of spouting off to begin with.
