  1. Hey Jason. I feel as if I am late attending this fab party..could be because all the canapes are gone, not even a chip or a hint of dip to dunk the missing chip into. Sigh…someday i shall learn to come too early instead of fashionably late. I’ve been flitting back and forth through the comments and checking out blogs I haven’t seen before. Here’s hoping someone will come out mine as well. I am found at hppt://www.suziland.net, AKA Obsolete Childhood. And that does sort of describe the blog…childish, snarky, tongue in cheek..sometimes ridiculously serious as only a young person can be. Too bad I am not young. Come visit and sit a spell. Everyone is welcome.

  4. HI there, it’s me again (tempted to say Hello, it’s me… but Adele already did that…). So, anyway, I’m a homeschooling stay at home mom who moved from Switzerland to Australia a decade ago and just wants to write about whatever comes to mind. Thanks, Jason, for keeping this going here. Today I’d like to share this post and hope to see you over in my little corner: https://amommasview.wordpress.com/2017/05/18/the-beauty-of-having-it-all/

  7. Hey all! I created a brand new website called http://www.mentalsuite.com.

I decided to create content that is very niche – not a personal blog. MentalSuite touches on pop psychology topics with an inspirational twist. I have been an avid follower of aopinionatedman for so long an I am grateful to be involved in this community!

  9. Well, I am certainly not a newcomer to Jason’s blog. I truly appreciate this ongoing opportunity.

You can visit my blog at https://wordpress.com/stats/day/aurorawatcherak.wordpress.com.

I’m just coming out with a new book on the 16th, entitled “Hullabaloo on Main Street.” It’s a novelette focused on America’s “bubble batles” … you know, how “half the country refuses to listen to the other half and everybody thinks they know what the other side is thinking. Libertarian Connor infiltrates both bubbles on Election Wednesday 2016 and takes readers along on a wry, non-partisan tour of both sides of the issues. He even offers a solution … not that any bubble dwellers will listen. It’s a work of fiction based on real-life events. Any resemblance to people you may know is purely coincidental.” Like all good satire, it uses humor to bring up some thought-provoking points from a non-partisan point of view.

It is called No Apologies from the Front Porch about a woman in her late thrities looking for love after being let down by every man in her life. She is a strong minded woman, prone to say the F word a lot, who likes her wine and coffee depending on the time of the day and loves her kids. You can check out the status of my book along with all my other articles on Writing-with-a-side-of-life.com
Some of my passions I write about is my family, my love for books, melanoma, the military and funny stories about being a mom. I hope you check my site out! -Leigh

  39. I’ve been blogging for a couple of years now (had to basically start over about a year ago), and still feel like a newbie. I feel like there is still so much I don’t know how to do.
My NEW blog is at http://www.captainjillsjourneys.com. There seems to be some problem with that one and I can’t figure out what it is. I get about 10x more likes/comments and follows on the old one. 😦 My old one you can find at wordpress: http://www.captjillsjourneys.wordpress.com.
I keep doing both of them (until I can figure out what’s the problem with the new one), but they’re pretty much the same.
I blog about travel, sailing, working on the water mostly, but I also do a lot of photography, and I write about good books, movies, food, drinks and other stuff I find interesting (like especially politics- I’m very libertarian and would love for someone to explain why- really- we can’t all live that way).
Sadly, I haven’t been able to write much about working at sea or traveling much lately, since I’ve been out of work for over a year now. I’ve been using my blog to get some of that out of my system.
I’d appreciate any input (and feel free to follow). 🙂

  63. Thank you so much for this! My last blog post, was a basic rant on my struggle as a writer, the loneliness of it and how hard it is to build a community of bloggers (you can find it here: https://flyingafargo.wordpress.com/2017/03/24/the-road-less-traveled-can-be-a-bitch/). But it would seem I was wrong. Because of people like you and posts like this, it doesn’t seem as daunting as i’d originally thought! Oh, and I blog about what I feel passionate about; movies, books, writing, sometimes the news, and just making it through the day as best, and as honestly as I can. I hope to spent some time going through these comments and finding some great people out there who might make this blogging and writing world a little less daunting!
