PerFectIon

Could I write perfection on a leaf of white? Perfectly describing what cannot be described. Tracing the outline of your outline, I caress your image with my pen. Teasing the want inside… how I want.

I want still. A perfect image of you for myself forever. PerFectIon recorded where perfection is found. I record you daily to remember the strokes. The strokes that create your perfect image in my mind.

  1. Nice ‘conversation’ piece. At least one direction. I like the emotional feel I get when I read this one. I’d describe it if I could, but have you ever tried to describe a deep-down-emotional feeling?

  3. To quote The Last Samurai: “The perfect blossom is a rare thing. You could spend your whole life looking for one, and it would not be a wasted life.”

Chasing perfection is fine but at the end he realizes that they are all perfect. Accepting and understanding the imperfections that is inherent in being human will make you realize that, in their own way, they are indeed “perfect.”
