My light

Tender light come slay the night.

Whispers in the wind take flight.

They smell of hope and fallen dreams.

Of diamond rings and pretty things.

They fall so far from so near.

Falling dreams with fallen tears.

They taste of bitter truth and tell.

Liquid moments that finally fell.

  1. As clichΓ© as it is, your poetry was one of the few on wordpess (including some other incredible poets) that made me try my hand at poetry. Well done, another very engaging poem. Thanks for sharing πŸ™‚
